Understanding how organisms respond to environmental change

I study how environmental change shapes physiological resilience, phenotypic plasticity, and evolutionary adaptation. My research integrates experimental physiology, thermal ecology, and organismal biology to understand the mechanisms that allow animals to persist in rapidly changing environments.

My work focuses particularly on the ways environmental variation—from urbanization and climate change to seasonal and daily thermal fluctuations—shapes physiological performance and organismal resilience.
